  • ‘A Luminescent Hooker’When I took this photo two years ago on a lowly two mega pixel phone camera, I was only really interested in the way that Emma’s face and the leaves behind her were glowing in the light of the street lamp. So when I first uploaded the photo onto the internet, I was intrigued by the descriptions that followed; ‘Emma looks like a divine hooker’ and ‘it looks more like a luminescent dandelion’. I would love to say that I’d had all these concepts in my head as I took the photo, but to be honest, it is more likely that I was simply thinking ‘aw, that looks pretty’. Then again, maybe there’s nothing wrong with just being a pretty picture to start with; your imagination can turn it into whatever it wants to afterwards.
